Self-Defense is a very important skill to learn, regardless of your age, gender, race or ability. We have a great partnership with Wahine Toa, and have worked with their superb instructors to share these skills with
the Indian, Nepalese, Chinese and Pakeha communities this year. The classes are free of charge, and cover all the bases – not only physical defence, but also empowering people to use their voice and body language to say “NO”
We highly recommend taking this course, and most of the ladies on our committee have done it themselves. You would be amazed at what you are capable of!
Our next classes are being run at Moera Community House this November, click here to find out more.
